The digital and online information we collect

Confidential Personal & Business Information
During the course of a project, it may be necessary for a client to share proprietary information, including trade secrets, industry knowledge, and other confidential information, to Van Isle Website Design in order to complete the Website or other project in its final form. Van Isle Website Design will not share any of this proprietary information at any time, even after the Agreement is fulfilled. Van Isle Website Design will not use any of this proprietary information for his/her personal benefit at any time, even after the Agreement is fulfilled. From time to time, it may be necessary for Van Isle Web Site Design to obtain confidential financial information including company credit card and banking details for purposes of purchasing 3rd party product or services and also for setting up certain elements and functions on e-commerce driven website projects. In addition, once the project is complete, Van Isle Website Design will no longer have access to your digital and online accounts including websites, google my business, hosting services etc.
After it's agreed upon and intended use with express permission by the CLIENT, the above mentioned information will never be maintained by Van Isle Website Design beyond the scope of the project nor will it be recorded by Van Isle Web Site Design. This information will be destroyed immediately according to confidential destruction guidelines set out in PIPEDA.
If you provide us with your Personal or Business Information, you have the following rights with respect to that information:
